In its compact 19L setup, U8 is sized for everyday work essentials such as a laptop, charger, headphones, notebook, water bottle and other small daily items—without feeling like you’re carrying a travel backpack to work.

Simply extend the roll-top and secure it at the higher position to add up to 5L of extra space. It’s useful when you need room for a light jacket, gym clothes, a packing cube or other extras that weren’t part of your morning commute.

The suspended laptop compartment is designed to fit most laptops up to 16", depending on the device’s exact dimensions and protective case. The raised compartment keeps your laptop off the bottom of the bag, while EVA padding adds cushioning against everyday bumps and hard set-downs.

No. A rear zip opening gives you direct access to the main compartment, so you can grab everyday essentials without opening and re-rolling the top. It makes quick access easier during commutes, travel and busy days on the move.

U8 is water-resistant, not fully waterproof. Its weather-resistant outer fabric helps protect your everyday gear from light rain, splashes and changing city weather, but the backpack should not be submerged or exposed to prolonged heavy rain.

U8 uses contoured padded shoulder straps and a breathable 3D mesh back panel to spread the load and improve airflow during everyday carry. At approximately 800g empty, it also keeps the backpack itself relatively lightweight before you start packing.

Yes. The expandable 19–24L capacity makes U8 well suited to commuting, day trips and light overnight travel while keeping a relatively compact profile. Airline carry-on rules vary, so always check your airline’s current size limits before traveling.
